Get this election over with!

I am so excited that there are only 5 days left before Obama wins the election. It's almost impossible to watch TV, get the mail, listen to the radio without being bombarded with the ads. After listening to Sarah Palin and McCain on Meet the Press last Sunday, I just wanted to scream. Both of these people are unfit to even be in a government position.

Cleaned Out

Monday was a day from hell. I had to prep for a endoscopy & colonscopy. The good side is that I feel 10 pounds lighter and squeezed into a size 8 jean. The doctor took biopsies from 3 different areas. Several ulcers were detected and I am supposed to stop taking Aspirin ASAP. I did tell the nurse that my brother (Keith) wanted to make sure they do the endoscopy first if they would be using the same tube. She enjoyed the comment and said that my brother is sick (which I already knew).

Halloween and Jax

Bruce and I are getting ready for a Halloween party on Saturday. Bruce is wearing a mask from years past. Julie Jennings told Bruce to "please take off that mask so people can eat." Still indecisive on what I'll be wearing.
Jax had is 2nd night of Obedience classes and seems to really like it.
He's half starved, so when we get to class and he would recite a poem in Latin just to get a little snack. Yes, he's that smart. I guess he gets it from the company he keeps (Ha!).

Winter is around the corner

October is almost over and winter is around the corner. We have already gotten our 1st snow in Conifer. (Keith, Nick, Jake & Taylor - please don't scream when you see the attached picture).

We have been working on several home projects lately (finally hung curtains in the loft area-after 10 years, driveway repaired and several plumbing jobs).

Jax has recently started Jr. Obedience classes and of course, he is the STAR student. He knows a lot of tricks and will do anything for a snack. After we complete this class, we are considering an agility course. He is an incredible addition to our family. I don't know what I'd do without him. He keeps us busy and on our toes.
